Danielle is originally from Seattle and lives here with her husband and four little ones. She is passionate about mental health, inclusivity, birth justice, and evidence based education.

On an average day, you can find Danielle adventuring outdoors with her tiny village. She loves finding new hiking trails and dilly-dallying around the Puget Sound. The key to her heart is some decent green chili, a good book, iced americanos, and a solid hammock nap.

Danielle has been a doula since 2016. She provides intuitive care to her clients, knowing and believing that they will each have different goals and visions for their birth experience. She makes it her priority to connect with the families she works alongside, to help them feel comfortable and supported through the unpredictable journey that pregnancy and birth can be. Her ultimate goal is to carry peace into this season of transition for families. Danielle cares deeply that her clients feel heard, seen, and validated in their emotions and their experiences.

She believes in creating a safe space for her families to uncover all of their options, and then supporting and empowering them on whichever path they choose.

What is a full-spectrum doula?

In the context of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period, a doula is a trained support person who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to pregnant people, birth parents, and their families. A full-spectrum doula is a support person who recognizes that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can have many different outcomes. In a nutshell, we provide support to people during the full spectrum of pregnancy and beyond. From pre-conception to abortions, miscarriages, stillbirths, adoptions, births, the postpartum period, and everything in between, we are there to support and hold space for you.

My philosophy

• I believe you deserve someone in your corner who is not only educated in this line of work but also someone who holds a deep passion for it.

• I believe every family deserves evidence-based support in order to make informed decisions that feel right to them.

• I believe in bridging the gap between patients and providers and helping you to advocate for yourself when necessary.

• I believe in you, and your ability to birth your baby wherever, and however you choose.
