It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Not to future trip but I cannot believe we are getting ready to ring in 2019 you guys…I don’t know about ya’ll but I am so ready. I love the opportunity for a fresh start, a clean chapter, time to deeply rest, rejuvenate and set mindful goals and intentions for the year ahead...

For now I am completely immersed in the holiday season and watching the wonder on my babies faces as they experience all of the magic, decorating, baking, sparkly lights, and sweetness that this time of year brings…

The last month has brought so many unique opportunities for human connection, which is seriously what I value the most versus having a relationship with my inbox or social media. My little cubs and I have spent our time playing with old and new friends, exploring parks on these crisp afternoons, and enjoying extra cuddles, warm drinks, and the coziness and comfort of slowing down our schedules and being at home.

As the weeks pass I am seeing that there is so much work to be done for families in the Seattle area in need of birth and postpartum support, and it is inspiring to see that awareness in the greater Puget Sound is increasing around this impactful, life changing care. I have several births coming up and am truly blessed for the opportunity to be able to hold space for these dear families. I feel so strongly about every single birthing person having a Doula present. I could seriously talk to you about it for hours, I am so ridiculously passionate. Having a guide who is an expert in birth work, who you deeply trust and have built a relationship with, and who is there to love on you and provide compassionate, mindful, judgement free support will change your experience in every way imaginable. It is such a gift to be able to do work that is changing the world through one family at a time.

My intentions moving into the final weeks of December are to slow down even more and truly savor the countdown to Christmas with my babes. To not go crazy with shopping for gifts and focus on making memories and going on adventures instead of buying stuff. To bake so many Christmas cookies, drink all of the peppermint mochas, and keep Warm 106.9 on blast.

Wishing you all the abundance of love, cheer, harmony, and bliss that this magical season brings. Peace and be well.
